Candied Ginger Apples

Candied Ginger Apples and Ice Cream

Ingredients

2 granny smith apples (pears can be substituted), sliced

3 tbsp. ginger, minced

1 tblsp. canola oil

¼ cup sugar

Ingredients

 

  1. Heat the canola oil in a pan over medium high heat.

  2. Add the ginger and saute until fragrant.

  3. Add the apples and saute with the ginger until they start to soften.

  4. Add the sugar and let it caramelize to the apples.

  5. Can be enjoyed as is or over ice cream, whichever you prefer
